Week Feb 28th
A quick update on Apple health app:
On the fifth of February several reports started to appear claiming that Apple has collaborated with some top hospitals in the US to pilot the Apple Health Kit Service. The aim is to help physicians monitor their patients with chronic health conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. The service would allow physicians to monitor their patients, watch for early signs of trouble and intervene before it becomes acute. It is said that, under the new U.S. government guidelines, hospitals can be penalised for repeat admissions and so are actively getting involved. In the mean time, both Google and Samsung are working on their own systems as well.
